Cyber Monday is officially here and I’m excited to share some of my favorite sales currently going on! This dress is from Dottie Couture and is unfortunately sold out. They are having a site-wide 30% off sale today using the code “bigsale” and still have a TON of other cute dress options. Dottie also has a ‘sale’ tab with many cute items already marked down and you can also apply the code to those items for an additional discount. I linked a similar Olive dress that is really cute and pictured a couple different ways you can dress it up! The hat and boots are both from Charlotte Russe, which is having a site wide 40% off sale today! Express is having a 50% of site wide sale as well!

Below are a few of my other favorite Cyber Monday deals going on. Getting your shopping on and happy Monday! 🙂

For Part 2 of “Loving Leatherette Leggings,” I paired them with a sweater from Forever 21 that is currently on sale for less than $10! If you want your sweater to fit loose like mine, make sure you order 2 sizes up. These leggings are perfect to add a little sass to the sweater. You can also add a scarf for the really chilly nights. This is outfit is super easy to put together and extremely comfy.

I got the other pair of shoes I’m wearing from Bakers Shoes 3 years ago. They don’t sell them anymore, but I linked all of their dress booties that they are currently selling. Bakers can be a little more on the pricey side, but the quality is amazing and they will last for years. Make sure to check back tomorrow for the next part of “Loving Leatherette Leggings!” If you missed part 1 either keep scrolling or click here! 🙂

Have a happy Thursday!

VEST: Similar

LONG SLEEVE: Sold out / Similar

JEANS: H&M

BOOTS: Tory Burch

Yesterday we decided to go on a little family picnic with some chicken noodle soup. My mom has been making this soup for as long as I can remember and it is absolutely amazing! Now that the sun sets so early, we barely made it to the park before dark after I got off of work. The pups had a blast chasing each other, while we ate our soup, and enjoyed each others’ company. Nala tries SO hard to keep up with Layla and sometimes does a couple front rolls when she looses her footing (it’s hard not to laugh lol). Nights like these ones are definitely my favorite. It is almost impossible for us to get a picture with all 4 of us looking and being still, but we managed to get some okay shots. The vest I’m wearing is from the same site I linked, however they are currently sold out of it in brown. Thanks for stopping by and be sure to check out the chicken soup recipe below! Happy Chicken Soup for the Soul Day! 🙂

WHAT YOU NEED:

4 Boneless skinless chicken breasts

3 Whole raw carrots chopped (optional)

12 oz Ribbon egg noodles

4 Cups chicken broth

1 can Cream of celery soup

1/2 Tsp Cayenne pepper / salt / pepper

STEP 1: Boil chicken breasts and carrots in big pot of water (about 20 mins).

STEP 2: Cut boiled chicken into pieces, set aside (leave carrots in pot).

STEP 3: Add 4 cups chicken broth to the water that the chicken was boiled in; cook noodles in that water.

STEP 4: Once noodles are cooked, mix in can of cream of celery soup.

STEP 5: Add cut up chicken, cayenne pepper, salt, and pepper to taste.

ENJOY! 🙂

We had a camping trip planned for this past weekend, but unfortunately the weather forced us to cancel our plans. I was so excited to spend a weekend outdoors and to get some mountain biking in. I got my first migraine Saturday morning and it was absolutely one of the worst pains I’ve ever had! Thank goodness Tyler was home to take care of me until it passed. He really is amazing! 🙂

Sunday turned out to be a gorgeous day, so we decided to have a day date on the River Walk. We got a table right along the river; it was perfect! We even made a little duck friend, who was very persistent on having some of our lunch. The weather finally got below 70 degrees, so I wore my favorite leatherette leggings and a distressed tunic. It was so amazing to finally be able to wear long sleeves and pants and not get hot by mid-day. Fall has finally arrived in San Antonio and I am THRILLED! 🙂 This entire outfit is from Dottie Couture because, duh, they’re my favorite. This tunic has sold out once already, so make sure you snag it this time around. I normally wear a size small, but I got a medium to make it would fit more like a dress so I could wear it with or without leggings. The leatherette leggings are amazing quality and seriously look good with everything.

I hope y’all had a fantastic weekend. Thanks for reading! 🙂
