Mad For Plaid

Plaid Has Officially Made A Come Back

and I’m not complaining one bit!!!! These pants give me all of the retro feels, and I can’t get enough! I paired them with a mustard crop top, white booties, and this adorable white backpack

My pants run a little big, so I would definitely size up!! I’m obsessed with the wide pant legs and the colors. Forever 21 for the win per usual! I also linked a ton of my other favorite plaid pants here!

I get SO many questions about my old Target booties, and unfortunately they are out of stock! I have been looking for dupes for over a year now, and Forever 21 finally decided to grace us with a pair! YAY!!! Not even kidding y’all, I bought a pair as back up because mine are getting scuffed and what not.

My backpack is one of my go-to’s and it’s currently on sale! It comes with super cute black fuzzy keychain (which looks cute on other bags too) and is super spacious. I even use it as a mini diaper bag for Jackson sometimes!

Special thanks to Madison Crowley Photography for taking these images! She does an amazing job and gives GREAT direction!!!

DRESS: Sold out / Similar

VEST: Dottie Couture

BOOTS: Charlotte Russe

HAT: Charlotte Russe

BOOT SOCKS: Target

I am definitely mad for plaid this fall! After we shot this outfit, we decided to go check out the Pearl Brewery Farmer’s Market. If you haven’t checked it out yet, I highly suggest you do! It was our first time going and it was the perfect little day date. We assumed that because it is a farmer’s market, pets wouldn’t be allowed, but when we got there several people had their dogs.  The market has a bunch of different vendors, live music, and delicious fresh food and drinks. I got a blueberry lemon filled coffee cake ring, as well as a freshly squeezed lemonade, and it was amazing. Tyler got a chicken florentine crepe that we split. It was a perfect, cool morning, but it started to heat up as noon approached so I decided not to wear the hat or vest.

The dress is sold out, but Dottie has a similar dress that comes with a belt AND it’s on sale! Who doesn’t love a sale?! The dress is originally $56 and is on sale for $30. They also just added a Similar dress and it is very cute! This vest is a must for your wardrobe. It is lined with faux fur and is seriously the softest! You can wear it with almost any outfit and is perfect to layer on those chilly days. The hat is another must for your wardrobe, as it adds statement to almost any outfit. Even if you think you can’t pull off hats, I would try this hat out. I have never personally been a hat person, but once you find the right hat and angle, you’ll fall in love. The boots are one of my favorites. I got them when Charlotte Russe was having an amazing sale: buy one pair of shoes, and get the second for $10. I got another pair of the same value, so I got these amazing boots for only 10 bucks!! They are also currently available online for $25. I highly recommend shopping at Charlotte Russe for your shoes. They always have amazing deals and adorable shoes. Currently all of their shoes are $25 or less! I like to wear boot socks with my “knee high boots” because my knees look a little funky and squished. The ones I’m wearing are currently on sale for less than $2, and are extremely soft and comfy.
