Is The Vampire Facial Worth All Of The Hype?

I recently received my first Vampire Facial at CosmetiCare which is one of the most recognized names in aesthetic services – not just in Southern California, but throughout the nation! Their mission is to guide their patients on the exciting journey to become the best versions of themselves through transformative aesthetic services. And that is exactly what Nurse Allison did at my appointment!

WHAT IS A VAMPIRE FACIAL?

It is basically just micro-needing using PRP – Platelet Rich Plasma!! This promotes healthy skin cell turnover and will improve the overall texture and tone of your skin!

WHAT IS MICRO-NEEDLING?

A skincare treatment that uses a Dermapen device delivery to provide an unparalleled collagen induction therapy via fractional delivery of needles into the epidermis and dermis. These micro-injuries to the skin encourage and harness the power of the body’s innate ability to regrow and repair the skin through the physiology of collagen induction.

DOES IT HURT?

I barely felt a single thing!!! Nurse Allison had the softest touch and I also had the option of receiving numbing cream.

DO I HAVE TO GET MY BLOOD DRAWN?

Yes. The process includes the initial blood draw, then running the blood through a centrifuge to isolate the platelets.

WHAT DOES YOUR FACE LOOK LIKE AFTER?

Honestly I thought my face was going to look 10x more red and puffy than it did. CosmetiCare applies an amazing sheet mask after the procedure to reduce the redness and swelling. I noticed some minor irritation and redness within the first few days. This is the natural response your skin will have as it begins to rapidly heal from the “micro-injuries” caused by the needling.

THE RESULTS?

I am over the moon with my results from CosmeticCare!!! The healing process stimulates collagen and elastin production which leads to healthier, tighter, and more vibrant skin that I can see within just one week. The results are almost instant! I could have not asked for a better experience!!

Thank you Nurse Allison at CosmeticCare for treating my skin!
