I am so excited to finally share Jack’s nursery with y’all! It’s not 100% finished yet, but I couldn’t wait any longer! We waited until the last minute to hang the curtain rod and curtains and it turned out that I bought the wrong size! We decided to go ahead and take the pictures anyway just in case he came early.

One of my favorite things in the nursery is the wooden Jackson elephant sign! It’s from an etsy shop called Elisa Anne Calligraphy and she is amazing! I was so impressed with how this piece turned out. She also has many more amazing pieces of work on her site that you should definitely check out!

The white framed “be brave little one” and “best kid ever” are free prints that I found on Pinterest! I just printed them and picked up some white frames from Walmart! Super cheap and easy!

I’m in love with the Evoz monitor! It seriously does EVERYTHING!! My favorite thing about it is that it connects to your phone instead of having a separate little monitor. I’ve used monitors like that before and they often get lost or dropped and cracked! I always have my phone on me, which makes checking in on my baby much easier! I love that you can control everything from your phone, from the night light to the lullabies/music, and it even has audiobooks! The camera also tracks the temperature in the room, and will send an alert to your phone if it goes out of range. I highly recommend this camera! I linked their website above.

I went to the doctor yesterday and everything looks great! It doesn’t look like Jackson will be making an appearance until closer to his due date (September 24th) but you never know. I will be scheduled next week to be induced October 1st. Hopefully he comes on his own before then! We are so ready to meet our little guy! ❤

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Saturday loves! I am officially 39 weeks pregnant today!! Things have been getting pretty uncomfortable and it seems like I get a little less sleep every night. I seriously can’t wait to meet our little guy!! This off-the-shoulder top is from a super affordable online shop called ROMWE. I love the sleeves, the lace detail, and the color. It isn’t a maternity top; I just went up a size to fit my big ‘ole belly! The top is less than $15, making it a total steal!

Today is my niece’s 6th birthday and we are headed out to her pool party and I’m hoping I don’t go into labor haha. Have a fabulous Saturday and thanks for stopping by! ❤

How fun is the color of this maxi dress?! The material is high quality and super soft. I love the way it flows at the bottom, and the pleating on the sides. This dress hugs my bump perfectly and still feels really comfy! I got it from an online site called Emotion Apparel! The site has everything from workout gear to amazing hand-dyed dresses. They also have ton of tie-dyed pieces, which I will totally be purchasing once I get back to my pre-pregnancy weight.

Thanks for stopping by! ❤

Happy Saturday! I can’t believe today is the first day of my 38th week; SO crazy! I’ve definitely been feeling pretty huge these days and am super tired all of the time. I’m still managing to get in some physical activity almost every day of the week. I was sick 24/7 the first 4 months of my pregnancy and didn’t do any physical activity and ate horribly. I basically let myself go and decided once I was feeling better, I would get in at least 20 minutes a day. For me, that is what gets me to the gym. I tell myself, “Come on Shelby! You can at least to two 10 minute intervals!” Once I get there, I usually end up going a little longer. I either do the elliptical or the treadmill on high incline. For the days I really don’t want to go to the gym, I at least go on a 20 minute walk, or do 20 minutes worth of weights that I have at home. I use my ankle weights to do donkey kicks (2nd picture), and my 12 pound weights to do various arm and leg work outs.
