So last night was literally the BEST NIGHT EVER!!! We got to see Dashboard Confessional and The All American Rejects!!!! Okay so a little background real quick. Growing up music was always my go to! I was obsessed with finding new bands, going to see them live, and crowd surfing as many times as humanly possible. It was all mainly rock/alternative/screamo.

I spent most of my money I made from work on 4 things: Vans shoes, band apparel, Warped Tour, and Buzz Fest! I have gone to those two concerts more times than I can count haha. As I got older and busier I started going to less and less concerts and just overall keeping up with my favorite bands went out of the window.

When Ty surprised me with these tickets for my birthday in May, you could say I was a tad excited lol. Songs from these two bands m were played thousands of times when I was a preteen. My best friends and I used to scream the lyrics from the tops of our lungs on pretty much any given day. Both bands have SO many memories tied to them so last night was just too amazing for words!! Hands Down will forever be my favorite song by Dashboard for so many reasons and they performed it so well live!

I’m obsessed with how cute Jack looked in his tank from Little Gypsy Finery and his shoes from Robeez just tied his little rocker outfit together perfectly!! I can’t find the exact tank on their website anymore, but I linked a bunch of other really cute ones above, a few of which Jackson owns too hah. Jack loves his new Robeez shoes because they have the softest soles ever!! The coolest part about these shoes are that they mimic bare feet. By flexing and bending with every step,  these shoes do not constrict your baby’s growing feet!

I gave y’all a little preview of this top a couple of posts back and I just can’t get enough of it! I also really wanted to share more about SheIn with y’all. I have been shopping with them for over 5 years now!! When I first started blogging, I was fresh out of college and super broke haha. I mainly focused on fashion then and the only way I was able to provide any new content was to shop on a MAJOR budget! I know the prices may make you think the quality isn’t up to par, but trust me, it is. Everything I have that I have bought/received from them, I have absolutely loved. My #1 tip is to always read the measurements & reviews! Some items run larger or smaller than others and this will save you the hassle of returns.

The top I’m wearing was shown tied in the front, but I tied it around back to cover my jeans! You could tie it higher in the front and wear it with high-waisted shorts or a cute skirt. There are so many different ways you can style this top. I love it!

How adorable is this top from Gozon?! Both the color and print are SO perfect for summer and the pom detail is the cherry on top! I love the fit and went a size up for a more flowing look. I’m wearing a medium for reference! Gozon is an online boutique that I’ve recently discovered and fell in love with immediately. Anything with affordable prices, cute clothes, and fast shipping is a win in my book. If I could buy everything, I would haha (if only!!)

My mother-in-law and I took Jackson to the Houston Zoo for the first time and it was a real treat! The heat was almost unbearable that day, but little Jack pushed through and had such a great time! He LOVED feeding the giraffes and was mesmerized watching the sea lions swim. We also took him on the train ride that loops around Herman park, which he also loved! All-in-all, a fantastic fun filled day.

How fabulous are these skinny jeans?! They are from Evy’s Tree and I’m obsessed with the sangria color and the fit! These are a cross between skinny jeans and leggings and that is why they hug you in all the right places. Leggings with back pockets that look like jeans?! I will take it! These will quickly become a staple in your closet. I promise! I am wearing a size small for reference.

My top is from Shein and I’m loving the statement sleeves! This is a trend that will probably never go out of style for me, personally. I love how statement sleeves can really spice up a look!
