A couple of months ago I went to a dermatologist for the first time and Dr. Aguirre  put me on a new skincare routine and I actually stuck to it. SAY WHAT?! I am in love with the results, so I thought I would share my experience and my step-by-step routine with y’all.

I’ve never really had any issues with my skin until I got pregnant and moved to California. All of those hormones and this desert climate did not mix with my well humidified skin, as Houston is VERY humid.

I wanted to try going to a dermatologist but I was a little skeptical. I had read some things online saying things along the lines of “dermatologists make your skin break out more so you have to come back” etc. I am so glad I didn’t listen to those reviews because my skin is the best it has been in years!

My first appointment with Jeffrey Klein MD was a really amazing experience. The staff was warm and welcoming and Dr. Aguirre was super informative. She answered every question I had with answers I could really understand (and I had a lot hahah.) My skin had several breakouts and dry spots and Dr. Aguirre said Hutton Klein’s skin care line would clear it right up. She recommended their HK Acne Combo Gel and for me to apply 3 times a week in the evening. I followed her exact steps for 2 months and my results are amazinggggg!! NIGHT ROUTINE:

1. Wash face with Hutton Klein Foaming Facial Cleanser.
2. Saturate a cotton ball (I use these) with Hutton Klein Pore Minimizer and work over the surface of the face in a circular motion.
3. Apply 1-2 pumps of HK Acne Combo Gel to entire face.
4. Moisturize with Hutton Klein Hydrating Mango Face Cream.
