How cute is this Boppy pillow cover? I love the color and print! It also matched perfectly with this outfit that Jack’s Grann got him, so I had to snap a few pics (or like 100 haha.) A Boppy nursing pillow is a must for newborn moms! It is a lifesaver for nursing and even if you’re not nursing, it is still a must! Jack loves lounging in his Boppy and it is the perfect size to move all over the house. It’s a lot easier than constantly moving a swing or bassinet etc. up and down the stairs. It is also perfect to have on hand for when your child starts sitting up to have as a ‘spotter’ for him or her to fall back on to just in case. Newborns can be a serious challenge sometimes! Especially when it is impossible to predict when they are going to spit up. Jackson seems to always pick the few moments that I’m not prepared or when my normal burp rag falls off my shoulder. My Burpshawl is a serious life saver (and time save.) Less spit up on my clothes equals less laundry, which equals more time! Woo! The Burpshawl stays in place SO much better than a normal burp rag and is actually stylish. It also functions as a nursing cover; score! I love that I can wear it out in public as part of my outfit so I don’t constantly have to take it in out and of the diaper bag every time I think Jackson is about to spit up. Happy Monday! I hope you all had a great weekend. It rained pretty much all night last night, which is crazy!! It’s the first time I’ve seen rain since we’ve moved to California. How cute is Jackson’s hat and swaddle?! His hat is from Little Ones Love and I adore how it says his name across the front. The shop has a variety of colors and prints to chose from so you can customize your own! The swaddle is from Snuggle So Chic and is extremely soft. My favorite thing about it is that it says “wild thing” all over! Jack is definitely a wild thing and he looks so cute wrapped up in it. Make sure you check out their shop for cute baby gear!

How cute are these matching hat and pants?! I love the yellow on Jackson. BambooSwaddles4Baby seriously has the cutest outfits. I’m obsessed. If you have a newborn, I highly suggest checking this shop out! I’m currently writing this post with one hand as I feed Jackson. I swear he wants to eat every hour! My big boy sure does love to eat. He had his second doctor appointment yesterday and everything is looking great! He now weighs 8.3 pounds and the doctor gave the okay for him to sleep 4-5 hours. Now only if I could actually get him to sleep that long lol! I’m not going to lie, I’m feeling pretty worn down/exhausted/zombie like these days! Being a mom is hard work, but totally worth it.
