Jackson just turned 9 months old a couple of days ago and the older he gets, the more I think about how quickly time has flown by! Believe it or not, I’m actually still discovering new tips, tricks, and products that I wish I would have utilized sooner! As a mom, I think it’s important that all moms stick together and support one another. With that being said, here are five things that I wish I would have known sooner as a first time mom.
1. Pumping Bra
Y’all, how the heck did I not know about these until Jackson was about 7 months old. I was holding my pumps THE ENTIRE TIME!! Don’t be silly like me and grab yourself this Hooter Holster and your life will forever be changed!
2. Doc-A-Tot
Jackson has always loved his DockATot! We have been using ours since Jack was born. The first month of his life he slept in this at night between Tyler and I in our bed! After that we used it all over the house. When it came time to transition him to his crib, our DockATot was perfect and made the transition smooth. Once he was sleeping in the DockATot in his crib, traveling became a breeze! He would sleep anywhere as long as he had his DockATot. Shop his shark onesie here!
3. Baby Pool for Indoor Play Area
We just got this baby pool for Jackson and boy do I wish we got it sooner!! He loves playing in it without any water in the house! It has the perfect cushion and keeps him in place. He also likes to pull himself up on the yellow sides! For less than $15 it’s basically a must! Also, it’s super easy to blow up!
4. Boody Baby Onesies
The fabric on these onesies is SO amazing! I promise you won’t find anything like it anywhere else. I also love the fact they have a zipper on the bottom and the top! This would have made those middle of the night diaper changes SO much easier! They also have built in hand mittens that fold over. We were using socks before haha!
5. GRIPE WATER
I wish we would have started him on this sooner! He had major gas issues the first couple of months! Finally after some research I saw a lot of other moms talking about gripe water. This changed our lives so much! When we would give this to him his mood would change in minutes!! It also helped him sleep better through the night! It literally says it helps with fussiness on the bottle!!
